My Design philosophy is to work collaboratively with my clients to create their ideal living space. My strength as a designer is that I listen very closely to my client's ideas and immensely value their input. I like to meet with my clients, see how they live, and develop a design scheme based on how they see themselves in their home. I strive for a fully functional, beautifully appointed home.
I received my Interior Design degree from Fairfield University, and I am a member of ASID. I work on private homes, and I have also been very privileged to design non-profit projects such as The Tina Klem Serenity House, The Bridgeport Rescue Mission Women's Center, and The Women's and Family Center home office. I have also been the Project Manager for many Habitat for Humanity homes where even with a limited budget my team and I were able to create beautiful surroundings for people who truly deserve it. It's a very rewarding experience to be able to give back in a way that I am passionate about! I firmly believe that good design in a home brings a sense of calm, peace, and comfort. It is my ultimate joy to bring that to my clients. I completed my Interior Design degree from Fairfield University, and I am a member of ASID.
My main priority in working with my clients is to establish a relationship where they feel heard, valued, and honored in their vision for their home. I am incredibly dedicated to the entire process from our first meeting through to project completion. I oversee all aspects of my projects to streamline and execute the design. My approach to the design process is to first establish your priorities and to see how you live. I will create a comprehensive design scheme that best suits your lifestyle and brings beauty and comfort to your lives through your surroundings. Part of my design career has allowed me the privileged to work with a wonderful foundation Her Haven and use my design skills in many non-profit projects, including Bridgeport Rescue Mission, Tina Klem Serenity House, and The Women's Center for Recovery. It is immensely rewarding to help those in need to find their own safe harbor in their homes. To work within their budgets and produce a beautiful result is very gratifying. |
